KEEP CALM & LISTEN TO MUSIC MONDAYS!

I had to wait until I had seen the Grammy performances to do this post and I'm glad I did.

Beyonce served a visual, perfectly choreographed masterpiece that looked like a Renaissance fresco by Da Vinci. Seriously, that was a piece of art! Not to forget Adele's touching speech! You guys this is what music is about! Pure fan joy right now!

Without further ado, here are this week's picks

Guys, I need to know your thoughts, so email me or comment and I'll add your favourite picks to the mix. Talk to me ya'll!

NEW ALARM SONG!

Artist: Dirty Projectors

Track: Cool your heart down feat DAWN

This is a nifty little song, reminds me of Saturday afternoons by the beach with mimosas! Interesting fact the lyrics to this song we written by none other than Solange!

NEW SCHOOL HYMN!

Artist: Chance The Rapper

Track: Same Drugs.

I can't get enough of Chance The Rapper. I'm a late adopter to his musical journey but listening back to all his music from Acid Rap all the way back to Coloring Book, I feel in love with his music.

This song sounds like a church hymn which makes it a touch more nostalgic. With John Legend and Eryn Allen Kane featuring in production and vocals this album is a gem.

NOT SHY OF ANYTHING!

Artist: M.I.A

Track: P.O.W.A

This song featured in Weekly Picks last week and I am in love more with how well the visuals work together than the song itself. That said, this is a heck of a song and M.I.A is never one to hold back on the punches. This song is no exception!

THE LOVE AFFAIR CONTINUES

Artist: Sampha

Track: "Plastic 100°C"

I know I sound like a broken record but this album really is a gem! As I continue to listen and re-listen to this album it gets better and better. I predict a Grammy in 2018! I'm willing to bet money on that!

BONUS TRACK!

Because it's Valentine's soon and because you're super dedicated if you've reached the bottom of the page here's a bonus from . Love this jam!
